Module Description
The Core Curriculum is developed out of the Academy's Fundamentals of HIV Medicine textbook and is an ideal way to learn the basics of HIV prevention, care and treatment or to gain a quick update on specific topics in HIV care. An array of neurologic complications may be caused by or affected by HIV and its treatment. These issues can impact the choice and timing of antiretroviral therapy.

Learning Objectives
- Compare and contrast the etiology, clinical features, and management of the array of HIV-associated neurological complications
- Analyze which neurological complications are impacted by or caused by antiretroviral therapy (ART)
- Relate which complications would affect the management of ART, either by dictating the choice of regimen or timing of ART
Target Audience This activity is intended for physicians, PAs, NPs, RNs, and pharmacists who are engaged in the care of people with HIV.

There are no fees for participating and receiving CME/CE credit for this activity.
